Journey back with us some several million years, back to an age of creatures of unbelievable proportion. Here nature plays out it's own rules. The weak are food for the strong, the strong are food are the stronger, and the stronger themselves are food for man.

Man?

Yes, 21st Century man, tired of a diet of algae and synthetic foods, and eager to get some real meat back in his veins has found that nothing will stop his desire for meat, and if he has to do a little journey of a few million years into the past, then that is what he will do...

It was early in the 21st century that a scientist by the name of Ashley Logan accidentally unlocked the key to time travel. This was in the twenties, and no one was prepared to listen to a crazy old man and his theories about time travel when there was more important matters to be dealt with - like survival.
And thus it wasn't until the early thirties when things had calmed down a bit that a friend of the scientist - a man called Theodore Hubbard who was a fairly shrewd business man with a small fortune to his name due to various illegal and not so illegal activities - happened apon some discarded notes of his friend and suddenly realised what could be done with such a concept.
Out went all thoughts of scientific discovery and research, no that wasn't what the world needed. It needed something else.
Food. Real food, not some synthetic rubbish grown in a vat, but meat.
And so it was that the idea was born of a trip to the past to harvest the great dinosaurs themselves to feed a public that could never know the real source of this meat.

The next few years were spent organising, building, getting sponsors and perfecting the time travel aspect (all in secret), until in 2044 the whole thing was ready to go, and the bases in the past were constructed and harvesting begin.

Since then there have been a few mishaps, but on the whole, things have gone quite well. In fact Theodore treats the whole thing as a big joke, which is why the packaging on the products actually states the dinosaur used, what time period it was gotten from, and usually a bit about the methods used to capture and harvest the creature. Most people think that it rather foolish, but until recently no one in the 21st century would have believed in time travel at all. Indeed the whole packaging concept has spawned some copycats (selling things like Sabretooth Tiger steaks and using other prehistoric animals) which can only help to convince people of the absurdness of the idea.

Most people.

The current thorn in the side of Trans Time is a rival corporation that has seemed to have sprung up almost over night. A company that has dubbed itself Time to Time, and who apparently want to muscle in on Trans Time using any methods they can, whether it is in the past, or the future.

This has not made Trans Time happy, and they have begun tooling up for armed conflict...
