| Wheels vs Walkers, part V

BrawlTech Corporation (makers and designers of weapons and autoduelling equipment, not very well known or respected) have managed to acquire the plans for some new types of equipment, and they wish to test the prototypes in actual combat situations to find out they'll work.
They thought long and hard on a test area, and then settled on a place that has a dedicated defence force which would serve their needs. This place was Midville. But to make this a fair test, the Midville forces were warned by an anonymous tip off, so that when the BrawlTech forces they were ready... This battle works best with a referee, although one is not necessary if desired. The map to be used is any Midville maps (or Cityblocks if desired). Two maps work best, but for a long hit and run battle, four (or more!) could be used. The Midville forces get $20,000 to outfit 20 or more MONDOs with hand weapons and gear. They also get $80,000 for 3 or more duelling cars which just happen to be on hand and will help in the defence, however no ramplates allowed in this particular scenario! The Midville forces have been told to expect an armoured ground attack, but the nature or details of the attack are unknown to them. The police forces have all been drawn away/bribed or threatened so that they will not intervene. The Ambanaught will defend the hospital. Upto 16" of chain is available. The BrawlTech forces get $130,000 for a minimum of 3 Walkers (see here), and a further $230,000 for a minimum of 5 powered armour troopers (see here). An unarmed (no ramplate!) pickup or van may be bought to provide the powered armoured trooped quick access into the town. The Midville forces set up anywhere on the maps, and may use hidden movement if desired. The BrawlTech forces enter the town from any of the main roads leading in, and may be split up. They may enter at any speed. The BrawlTech objective is to engage the Midville forces (both cars and MONDOs) and all must fire at least one potentially damaging shot from each of their weapons at these targets before retreating again. Building damage is not an issue here, although testing the walkers by moving through them might be fun. As this is a test run, the BrawlTech forces are to retreat if things start to go bad, and must try and retreat if they lose half of their powered armour troops or walkers. The Midville forces are trying to stop this and destroy the BrawlTech personal. If things are going badly for the Midville mob, then one or two of the police cruisers can decide to come back and aid the town in yet another of its hours of needs! | |
