Whilst some people have a sort of idea of what a typical (if there such a thing) winged in ground effect vehicle looks like, some people don't. So here are just a couple of pictures to try and desrcibe what I mean.

	The Seawing by Seawing International P/L This is one of the latest generation of WIGE vehicles that is about to hit the market. It is designed as a small passenger carrier.
	The X-113 by Fischer Flugmechanik This is actually an old design, used as a test platform in the late sixties, but has a very typical design layout.
	The Orlyonok ekranoplane by the Volga Shipbuilding Plant One of the new generation of Russian ekranoplanes, although one of the smaller models. Typical Russian planes are around the 450+ tonnage range, and some are larger than 747 aircraft!
