So you've decided to step up from being a test driver, but you like the way that Formula De Mini works? Well, you're not alone. We like playing Mini very much over here, and we decided to use those rules to step up to full size race tracks. If you want to do that to, then you can use the following notes to help you. If something is not mentioned here, then it doesn't change from the standard Formula De Mini rules.
The only extra item you'll need is a 6th Gear die.
Because you're now playing in the faster cars, you have access to a higher gear - 6th!
Now you're playing on the full size maps, you'll notice that some corners require 2 or even 3 stops. For the most part, these corners are treated as normal - you must make the required amount of stops within them or start to lose LPs. However, for a two stop corner, if you don't make any stops at all, you're automatically eliminated. With a 3 stop corner, you must make at least 2 stops. If you skip one stop, you'll be eliminated, and no amount of LPs will help you save your car.
All cars roll for engine damage when someone rolls a 20 in 5th Gear or a 30 in 6th Gear. 4th Gear no longer causes engine damage.
Even though a 6th Gear is in use, a car may still only skip down by a maximum of 3 gears. Thus you can drop from 6th Gear to 2nd Gear, but you may not skip from 6th Gear to 1st Gear.
A car may make a pit stop after every lap if desired.
When exiting the pits, a car may leave in 4th Gear.
