Well, it's been about a year and a half since I initially posted my survey, and I'm very pleased with the results. So, I thought I would post some initial findings.

Firstly, I've had a total of 42 surveys completed. Actually, I've had more, but for some reason I don't get all the attachments. I think overall I would have had 60, but the rest haven't gotten through. I don't know why this is, but I am looking into it. Personally I think it's that a lot of browsers can't handle JavaScript emailing forms, but it may be something else.

Of those 42 surveys, all have been from males, and and the majority (80%) have been from the USA, the rest being distributed amongst Europe, Australia, South Africa, South America and even one from Russia. So that's very encouraging!

Breaking this down further, we find the following amongst the players:

I actually expected the CCG's to get a higher result than they did, but personally, I'm pretty glad they didn't. I was also suprised at the amount of people who actually still play the Renegade Legion series of games. I don't know why actually, I shouldn't be, after all, RTech is basically an adaptation of that system, so it stands to reason that people interested in it might also be interested in Renegade Legion.

So, what about Renegade Tech itself, how did that fare?

This is the main bit that I'm interested in, and the results are quite revealing I think. The results seem to be favourable - you like it! Yippee! Which is nice. There was not a single person who said that they didn't like the system. Okay, you fill out the survey one probably thinks you do that because you're interested, but you don't have to be nice. A lot of you already use RTech, and it seems that the majority of you wouldn't be adverse to trying it out either.

How you found out about the game could be a bit misleading. It appears that a lot of you did an online search for it. While I'm willing to believe that you could be searching for this, you could also be searching for Renegade Legion, or Battletech, either of which will (eventually) return a result of Renegade Tech. Still, very encouraging, especially the world of mouth section.
